City Fruit is pleased to welcome Jeremy Erdman to the organization’s board of directors. For the last year, Jeremy served as a Board Fellow through the University of Washington as he completed his Masters in Public Administration. In the last year, he completed a major policy project for the organization, crafting a comprehensive set of financial control policies for City Fruit. We are so pleased to have Jeremy’s continued expertise, energy, and passion on the board.
In June, Jeremy graduated from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, specializing in environmental and energy policy. Before coming to Seattle, Jeremy lived in San Antonio, where he studied Engineering Science and Environmental Studies at Trinity University with a keen interest in renewable energy. Jeremy is thankful for the opportunity to work with an organization focused on strengthening Seattle’s connection to sustainability.
Jeremy’s favorite fruit is the apple and his favorite fruit dessert is strawberry rhubarb pie. As a young child in western Pennsylvania, his family would go to a nearby lake many times during the summer. On the way back, they would always stop in the blueberry fields by the side of the road and pick berries for a few minutes, enjoying the berries as soon as they returned home.
